2007: HYC Marlins Repeat as League Champions
In 2007, the team was again the White League Champions, and the
Marlins moved up another spot in the City Meet to place in seventh, the team’s
highest finish in three years.

League Championship
Our 160-swimmer team had a
great season in summer 2006, going 6-0 in the White League and winning
the league championship after finishing last year 0-6 in the Red League.
The team's hard work showed in the City Meet, held July 16-18, where every
Hobcaw relay scored points, and the team moved up two places
from last year. Our coaching staff of head coaches Christopher Mills &
Jessica Berry and assistants Maura Lawson, Virginia Garrett, & Ashton
Hawkins, want to thank our parent volunteers and our team representatives -
Joye Wells, Sharon Mills, & Lisa Trott - and congratulate our swimmers for
a great season. We had a good season swimming as well as at our social events –
bowling, movies, and a sock hop. We can't wait for next summer! Download and
